Framework lineage
Kaleo
The originating framework from which Identity Physics, the Sovereignty Engine, and Refresh Rate Physics are derived. Kaleo is a calling — a bounded, lawful identity under pressure.
Framework lineage
What Kaleo means
Kaleo is the Greek word for 'called' — a bounded identity that persists through pressure, drift, and transformation without losing what makes it itself. The Kaleo framework formalizes this as a mathematical operator: K maps a domain D to a sovereignty state S_D through a projection π_D, where K ≠ S_D. Lawful Identity Theory (LIT) and the Sovereignty Engine are downstream applications of the Kaleo operator to human identity, organizational dynamics, and physical systems.
This is a structural analogy, not a physical measurement or empirical claim. The operator is a proposed framework for understanding identity invariance.
Operator definition
Kernel
The invariant core of a system — the properties that must be preserved for lawful continuity. K is not a domain artifact; it is the source from which all projections are derived.
Domain projection
The function that maps K to its expression in domain D. A lawful transformation that preserves invariants while adapting to domain constraints. Different domains produce different sovereignty states from the same kernel.
Sovereignty state
The expression of K in domain D. K ≠ S_D is preserved: the expression in a domain is never identical to the originating kernel. A system in sovereignty operates from its kernel, not from domain pressure.

The arc of the series
Refresh Rate Physics established that the formal structure underlying identity is the formal structure underlying physical reality. Instantiation of Introspection applied that structure to AI behavioral analysis. RIT-UII asks how those two applications cohere — what it means for the same invariant kernel to be simultaneously active in physical, behavioral, and applied domains. The non-local dynamics paper then asks the harder question: what happens when those domains have no causal connection to each other, and the kernel is still coherent across them?
About this guide
The meaning guide is deterministic. Every answer is a fixed, sourced passage from the published works — matched by keyword, not generated by a language model. No inference, no paraphrase, no hallucination risk.
The Kaleo framework is a proposed theoretical structure originating with Christopher Crocker / Gnome Badhi. It is not a deployed AI agent, an IoT controller, or an independently validated empirical system. Claims are theoretical proposals unless otherwise labeled.
